Has anyone out there served on a jury?

I have jury duty next month. Anyone in Michigan I can talk to? I've found the Fully Informed Jury Association website and am trying to reach the Michigan contacts.

One reason I think so many try to get out of jury duty is that judges tell  juries to judge only the facts. That's not Constitutional, else "public trial...by an impartial jury" (Sixth Amendment) becomes a dog and pony show. Traditionally, juries have judged the applicability of the law to the case as well, and nullified a law they felt inapplicable or unjust, but judges today don't tell juries that.

A fully informed non-racist jury would have found Rosa Parks not guilty by nullifying the Jim Crow law she broke.
